At Sazagua Hotel Boutique, we firmly believe that the sustainable development of the local community is paramount to our success. We are committed to the well-being of the surrounding communities and strive to create a positive impact on their quality of life.
Our community impact initiatives include:
Support to small coffee producers
We source our coffee directly from local farmers, ensuring fair compensation and promoting the local economy. In our farm-to-table coffee experiences, 80% of the proceeds go directly to the coffee-growing families.
Job creation
We generate local employment both in our hotels and in the activities we promote. We prioritize the hiring of personnel from the region and provide training and professional development opportunities. Currently, we have created 45 direct jobs and 60 indirect jobs, benefiting guides, drivers, coffee growing families and local communities in the departments of Risaralda, Quindío and Caldas.
Preservation of the environment
Our hotel Sazagua Reserva Natural, located in the majestic Cocora Valley, covers 80 hectares of natural forest. In this area, we are dedicated to the reforestation of wax palms, an emblematic and vital species for the biodiversity of the region. Our mission is to provide our guests with a unique and enriching experience, while contributing to the preservation of the natural heritage for future generations.

We promote local culture through our activities and experiences. We offer workshops, guided tours and other activities that allow guests to learn about and enjoy the traditions of the region.
