This hotel is, without a doubt, a true paradise. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel like we were the only guests. They ensure every detail is perfect and are always ready to organize any activity you desire, from tours to special dinners. The quality of service is second to none, and they genuinely go above and beyond to give you the best of the best.
We have been lucky enough to visit this place twice this year and are already dreaming of our next trip. If you're looking for a place where rest and exceptional service are guaranteed, look no further. We can't wait to return!

It is deeply disappointing to write this review in a country I love, where I’ve always had positive experiences. During a family wedding at this hotel, several guests were robbed, losing jewelry, a perfume, and a suit jacket. At the time of the theft, security cameras were inexplicably not working.
The management’s response was shocking: instead of taking responsibility, they staged a lie detector test for employees—a theatrical display that did nothing to address the harm. Experiencing such a violation of privacy in our own rooms was one of the most distressing moments we have ever endured.
Future guests should pay close attention: the management has yet to take genuine accountability and acts in a narcissistic manner, believing they have handled everything correctly when they clearly have not. This hotel fails to protect and respect its guests. Travel should create joy and safety—not loss, mistrust, and frustration.

I want to rage the 0 stars but google wont allow you.
One of the worst holiday experiences I’ve ever had.
Stayed for a wedding and multiple items were stolen from the room. It must have been the staff as there was no forced entry.
The Police had to be called as the manager of the hotel was drunk, and more, 100% of the 3 days we stayed.
Additionally the manager was extremely aggressive during the whole ordeal which no one should have to endure during a celebration.
Please be aware when booking this venue. You will be scammed

A little removed from the urban center of Salento, this hotel boasts a wonderful view, nestled in the middle of a mountain, surrounded by tropical forest, filled with birds and butterflies, which will accompany your meals in a beautiful old-fashioned courtyard.

One of the best boutique hotels we've stayed in, not only for its location, its proximity to the Cocora Valley, the thoughtful details, etc., but also for the excellent service provided by the entire staff. Elías, who was primarily responsible for ensuring we didn't lack anything, along with his entire team, were constantly committed to providing a very high level of service. Highly recommended for enjoying a few days in the coffee region.

We went to the restaurant for lunch around 4 pm. It was the most delicious meal we ate during our stay in the coffee region. The chicharrón (pork rind) and corn arepas (corn arepas) were wonderful appetizers, and the main courses, like the morrillo (pork ribs) and ribs, were simply perfect. Highly recommended! The atmosphere is also very nice.

Part of our honeymoon was to stay in Cócora Valley. So we decided for Sazagua in Cocora. The location is perfect as is only 10 min away driving to Salento. The good was amazing we had dinner and breakfast there. Service went above snd beyond. We met Juan Pablo before he went out of town and made us feel right at home. All the staff was just so friendly and attentive. Andres was our guide for the mule riding and that was an extraordinary experience.

Stunning location, the views are incredible and the grounds simply beautiful. The hotel itself is fabulous, elegant yet relaxed with delicious food and charming staff.

This place is absolutely stunning! It's close to Cocora Valley and Salento, the staff are extremely attentive, and the food is delicious.
Sazagua offers everything to enjoy your stay (mud boots, binoculars, guides).
We went hiking to the waterfalls, watched birds, went on a guided tour of Cocora Valley, went to a picnic by the water, and did an arepa tasting. Fanny was an amazing instructor.
I can't wait to come back!

I ate at the restaurant and the experience was excellent. All the details well taken care of, the dessert is delicious. They gave me a complimentary jug of coffee and water and I was able to stay reading in the hotel room while the rain stopped. The staff is very friendly and made me feel very welcome even though I was not a hotel guest.

We came for lunch. The orders took 2 hours to arrive. We ordered the hamburger and it was extremely tasteless. The thing that comes quickest is beer.

A magical place. The landscape, the nature, the silence, the tranquility, the delicious food, the comfort of the rooms, the excellent service... Every detail makes this a wonderful experience. The quality of live at home moment. Elias attended to us and he is a very attentive and helpful young man. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights of our honeymoon there and it was unbeatable.
The decoration is beautiful, the room is much larger than it seemed with a jacuzzi included, a very comfortable bed, great food (we had dinner all 3 nights at the hotel) and the best thing, the attention of the staff, incredible kindness and treatment.
We had a reservation in Pereira and due to a change in the flight schedule we decided to go to the hotel in Cocora, the management was very fast.
Many thanks to the team at both hotels.

Went to the restaurant, we didn't stay at the hotel, but it look amazing, quaint and calm. The food was excellent and the service even better. It is a small restaurant with like 8 tables, so the food and the service is great. I had the Solomo and it was cooked perfectly I paired it with a Poker; it matches every time.

After traveling with 2 sick teens, we found refuge in @sazaguacocorahotelboutique in Colombia’s UNESCO coffee region near Salento. It’s an eco resort run by Juan Pablo Vásquez Restrepo with beautifully decorated rooms and Michelin level food. Juan Pablo is a trained chef and really delivers on flavor. The food was so good that our teens refused to eat elsewhere. Their experiences ranging from tasting at a coffee farm, exotic fruit tasting to a trek among palms in Cocora Valley. Most of all, Juan Pablo makes you feel like you are visiting a friend.
We stayed in a suite with our teen kids. It’s the real Encanto!

I am Colombian, and definitely this is the best place to stay in Salento and Valle del
Cocora. Breathe taking views from the breakfast table and great local food surprised me. The plan here is to have quality time : a nice mountain trek, a lovely picnic by the river, or visit one of the many waterfalls nearby Cocora.
